Exciting Holidays in Los Angeles

With a plethora of holiday attractions on offer, Los Angeles is simply the holidaymaker’s delight. A great place for an exciting vacation, you will simply be on your toes while in Los Angeles. Los Angeles remains the holidaymaker’s paradise. If you are looking for something unusual to do on your holidays then Los Angeles is the place to be. Take your pick from the cultural, fun and adventurous things to be done in LA.

I made sure that my LA holidays included a bit of all these and of course some fun in the sand- yes, the beaches! The museums, water parks and theme parks too were included in my travel itinerary. Reaching LA is easy- thanks to the superb connectivity of the city and inexpensive flight tickets from the other parts the world. All the major airlines have regular flights to Los Angeles and there are many cheap tickets to Los Angeles that you can grab. So, I ensured that I booked my tickets early and made the best deal. The internet too was a good place, so I started looking for my flight tickets there.

What to Include in your Travel Itinerary

I ensured to include the Adamson House- the prefect Malibu home and the cathedral dedicated to Our Lady of the Angels, designed by Prof. Jose Rafael Moneo. The very contemporary design with absolutely no angles remains a very popular tourist draw. Besides, it remains the third largest cathedral, beautifully illuminated at night. There are the popular celebrity graves belonging to some of the greatest entertainers of all times and I made sure to include the Holy Cross, Hollywood Forever, Glendale, Westwood Memorial Park and the Forest Lawn. I would also love to stroll down the Grove and the Farmer’s Market and enjoy the bustling LA life in midst of stall, shops and cafes. There is also the Grand Central Market which will give a true flavor of the busy Los Angeles life. You might also enjoy the historic downtown of Pasadena which has plenty of popular nightspots.

Hit the Hollywood

If you are lucky you are sure to one of the celebrities. No wonder Hollywood attracts loads of holidaymakers every year and there are plenty of attractions like the Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign that you can enjoy. I was too excited and made sure that I do not miss out on any of these. Of course not to be missed out are those of Highland Center for entertainment and the Madame Tussauds wax showcase of popular celebs.

Shop till You Drop

We all could not agree more on what is a holiday without some good food and great shopping and I am no exception to this. LA also remains the shopaholics’ paradise and a premium shopping hotspot. The malls, the Street Promenade and the grove along with the open air markets are a shopper’s delight. Window shopping remains a favorite pastime and I would love to stroll down the streets watching the lovely merchandise.

Fare Buzz is the one stop solution for all your travel needs. From helping you plan your holidays to the best of the cheap flights to Los Angeles and the updates on the regular flights to Los Angeles, you have it all here.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Holiday in Dublin

After completing my graduation, I decided to take a break from my busy and hectic life so that I can return refreshed and in a positive state of mind. My younger brother and I decided that we should go for a vacation. So we found out various places in the world where we could go and the trip should come well within our budget. After short listing a number of places in the world we finally selected Dublin as our final destination where we wanted to go.

The city of Dublin is located in Ireland and is known for its vibrant nightlife and tourist attractions. We decided that it would be better if we could find the upcoming events and other shows that would be organized in the city during our visit and based on that we would buy airline tickets.

After searching a lot on the internet, we finally found out that the best time to visit Dublin is during the months of March and April, where a number of events and other shows are organized. We searched for cheap plane tickets and finally found some. The tourism board of Dublin offered us certain freebies and discounts on cheap tickets to Dublin.

All flights to Dublin are handled by the terminal airport of the city, which is situated about 7 miles away from the main city. Based on our research and study I will be sharing with some of the events that will be coming up in the city during the months of March and April.

The city of Dublin is coming up with St. Patrick Festival that will showcase the very best from Ireland and from the other parts of the world. This festival will be organized from 16th March to 19th March, 2012. Then a parade will be organized at Parnell Square during the St. Patrick Festival. Some of the leading fashion and cosmetic companies will take part and sponsor this parade. The theme of this parade is science. This parade will be organized on 17th March, 2012.

Another event that would suit rock band lovers is the Elvis Presley In concert, which would be organized in the O2 arena and reunite all the members of the Elvis group. This concert will be organized on 14th March, 2012. The O2 arena will also play host to the Brit Floyd, which celebrates the legacy of the band, Pink Floyd. The dates for this show have been tentatively given as 5th April, 2012.

Another interesting event that would be coming up in the city is the Diversity – Live 2012 tour. This event is being marketed as the biggest show in 2012. The band will be performing live on 14th April, 2012 at the O2 arena.

There are a number of events that are coming up in the month of March and April and you would be highly excited to visit and explore the beautiful city of Dublin. You should book your cheap flights to Dublin as soon as possible before it becomes difficult to find one.

Las Vegas – The Entertainment Hub of the United States

Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps and offers a multitude of options to enjoy non-stop. I opted for one of the flight deals for reaching this place and was wonderstruck to see that there is no dearth of live shows in this place. The performances are presented by eminent artistes like Celine Dion, Rod Stewart and Elton John and some great mind-numbing magic shows by Criss Angel. I also witnessed musical performances by performers from across the globe and saw production performances by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil.

February special shows
Since I reached this city using cheap tickets to Las Vegas in February I could enjoy the production shows scheduled for February that is worth a look.  Love by the Cirque du Soleil is a combination of acrobatics, dance and Beatles classics. Le Reve or the Dream is an out of this world aquatic spectacle that is worth seeing. Other productions from Cirque du Soleil that are treat to watch are Mystere, Zumanity and KA, besides Viva Elvis that is a tribute to the King of Rock Elvis Presley. Other variety shows include a Haunted Vegas Tour and the ever popular musical, the Phantom of the Opera that is a grand and spectacular show held daily at the Venetian costing $130 per head.

Adult zone
Few people who had inclination towards variety choose go for adult shows featuring popular actress Holly Madison or see the famous cabaret, The Crazy Horse at the MGM Grand. Thunder from Down under and Raack and Roll are other shows in this category that also seemed interesting. But to have a glimpse of this joy it is necessary to buy airline tickets and visit this place.

Magic touch
There were families with small children who had especially taken cheap flights to Las Vegas for viewing magic shows and comedy shows. Nathan Burton and David Copperfield have some very popular magical performances that left everyone of spellbound and asking for more.

Tribute shows
Tribute shows include a musical tribute to the Bee Gees and of course one show dedicated to the Beatles. I was mesmerized by the Legends in Concert and even listened to country superstars at the tribute concert of the same name. Since I fancy mind games I tried for the Mentalist show where the artist tried to read my mind and surprise me by revealing innermost thoughts and feelings. Other excellent performers in this category that was of interest include Anthony Cools and Marc Savard.

Lounge shows
Besides these shows, there are always lounge shows at all hotels that are free for guests. However it is necessary to check the dress code for the shows as most shows insist on at least a shirt and shoes code if nothing else. I hope that this brief will serve as a true guide and reckoner for you for upcoming shows in Vegas. Believe me, this is the right time to look out for flights to Las Vegas and book your tickets to this great city and let your hair down for some serious fun.

Exquisitely Designed Monuments of Washington

Washington DC is the heart of political and economic activities no doubt. However, the city is also well known for its exquisite architectural work that ranges from neoclassical Gothic monuments to various memorials after the Civil War.

When I took one of the flights to Washington DC, I could at once notice why the beautiful city is well known by all. The capital city of US is marked by various architecture, monuments, memorials, and palatial buildings. No wonder, majority of the top 10 buildings of the US is placed here. It is also intriguing to note that such monuments at Washington DC were not created in one century. There are some designed during Queen Anne’s area, Victorian age, after the famous Civil War, and Modern era. I had planned early, got best airline tickets to take one of the modest flights to the city.

Exquisite Memorials
Many airlines have organized cheap flights to Washington DC so that modest travelers like me can check out all exclusive memorials that have been built to show respect to those who laid down their lives in wars and events that the city has witnessed in history. For instance, DC War Memorial is dedicated to the citizens who have lost their lives during the First World War. Korean War Veterans Memorial offers a tribute the people who died during the Korean War. The memorial has exquisite granite statues of the leaders.

And, we should not forget mentioning Abraham Lincoln Memorial, where the statue of the leader is placed at a 10-feet high marble base. There are engraves and murals in the 38 columns in this memorial. Jefferson Memorial is yet another unique rotunda-shaped 19-feet bronze statue of US third President. Even on stopover flights, I found tourists often take time to visit the beautifully Cherry-blossom trees decked up memorial.

I had got the best airline tickets as the deal included my visit to the monuments, such as Roosevelt’s Memorial to monolithic stone carvings of Eisenhower Memorial and Iwo Jima Memorial. I had planned intelligently, browsed the net to hunt for cheap tickets to Washington DC so that I could avail budget flights.

Special Monuments
The George Washington monument is one of the prestigious monuments of the US where I made sure to visit. The structure is huge at 555 feet. The next eye-catching monument is United Capitol Building – the seat of legislative activities. This is the next tallest building after Washington Monument. And, yet another famous monument is the White House where President and the first family members reside. I did not have to worry about the cost. My cheap flights to Washington DC did the trick. And I enjoyed the 6-storied building that has many conference halls, auditoriums, and cabinet rooms for the President’s official work.

So, I went back home with a lot of memorable glimpse of historical monuments. I’d advice to all my friends to get one of the cheap flights to Washington DC and find out more on the place -- the heritage city of the country.

Explore the Spanish Splendors in Madrid

Madrid with its ‘mucha marcha’ is a splendid holiday destination that will lift up your spirits and will make a perfect escapade for you. Indulge in some of the best activities that are synonymous with Madrid and make the most of this amazing holiday destination.

Madrid is all about the Real Madrid football, the flamenco and the bullfights that will give you all the adrenaline rush that you are looking for. With a whole of international airlines offering the best of flight deals, you are free to pick the one that most suits you. I was looking forward to the top open bus city tours that will bring me closer to the Madrid culture- the museum, the iconic monuments, the best of Spanish food and the vibrant nightlife – all seemed to hold promises of a rollercoaster ride for me during my stay here. I booked my cheap airline flights and made my plans early and was all ready to explore Madrid.

Take the Bus Tour

This is definitely the best way to enjoy the real Madrid city. The bus tour will take you all through the city on two routes and let you enjoy the panoramic splendors. These are mostly operated by EMT or the Empresa Municipal de Transportes. The Double Decker bus will take you around all the important landmarks and monuments of the city. Most importantly you can also hop off the bus if you want to take a closer look at any of the attractions. However, you will have to wait for the next bus to continue the trip. The bookings can be done online. I booked them while I booked my cheap flights to Madrid.

Enjoy the Iconic Bull Fights in Madrid

Bull fight has somewhat become synonymous with Madrid aka Spain. I could not imagine a holiday without enjoying this. The main arena is called the Las Ventas, built in the mudejan pattern with ceramic tiles and red bricks. The months of May and June are the best months to enjoy the bullfights and it is at this time that you have the famous 20 day long bull fight festival- San Isidro. The fights are of different types where you can enjoy the young bulls or the novillos, fights in period costumes called the Goyesca and the bull fights on horseback or the rejones. It is surely an amazing experience all together. Interesting still, I went up to the Batan underground station- La venta de Batan to get a glimpse of the bulls prior to the fight.

Jive with the Cantoar’s Passion

Madrid with flamenco is simply not imaginable- flamenco- the vibrant, colorful and joyous form of music and dance is an extremely vivacious thing to enjoy. A perfect combination of passion, grace and power, you will love the shows.

Fare Buzz has helped me plan my entire trip. From the details of eating out the Spanish delights or enjoying the Plaza Mayor or visiting the Madrid Royal Palace to the best deals on cheap tickets to Madrid- I had it all there.

Nassau – Galore to Unlimited Entertainment

During weekends, tourists from various parts of the US flock in Nassau to enjoy binging, dining, and dancing at the local entertainment hubs. In fact, cheap airfare tickets to the city allow tourists with modest budget to splurge on delicacies and amusements.

There are regular flights to Nassau city in Bahamas from various plush locales around the world, such as the US, UK, Australia, and Japan. I had primarily bought one of the Nassau airline deals with lucrative offers to attend the annual Junkanoo festivity that is held during the year-end in Nassau. From live music to bars and nightclubs, there are scores of entertainment options which I enjoyed while holidaying at Nassau.

I wanted to taste the Bahamian fun-n-frolic culture during my year-end holidays. Picking one of the daily flights to Nassau was the ideal decision in this effort. And, just as I thought, there were hundreds of young tourists, romantic couples looking for a private getaway to youngsters in bachelor groups, picking cheap airfare tickets with the idea to eat, binge, jig, and shop at this harbor city.

Live Music, Hip-Hop Jig, and Merrymaking
Dancing to the rhythmic beats of Reggae, hip hop, and modern pop music is a dream well-realized at one of the nightclubs in Nassau. I booked into one of the comfy bars which offered “happy hours” for youngster tourists. The rock-n-roll band was playing its memorable beats and to its tunes, a couple of my friends danced merrily. The locals are equally enthusiastic to show-case their art. Club Waterloo is not alone. There are many more bar-cum-discos, such as:
  • Dragon Lounge
  • Fish Fry
  • Drop Off
  • Kings and Knightclubs
I was lucky to have bagged cheap flights to Nassau through profitable Nassau airline deals. Availing “Happy hours” cost money and I had saved cash by securing discounted tickets from my hometown.

The Frenzy at Junkanoo Parade
Just days before the starting of Junkanoo Parade on the streets of Nassau, the locals and tourists gear up with attractive costumes and jewelry in a bid to enjoy, eat, and drink during the festive parade. The costume creation is an art by itself. Decked up with glittering bejeweled apparels, the young ladies dance along with the music, drum beats, and cowbells. The entire city is crowded with buzzing tourists from across the world. The administration arranges cheap tickets to Nassau to rope in youngsters on a shoestring budget.

There are hundreds of Nassau airline deals offered by top airlines especially during Junkanoo Parade. And, I had secured a similar one. I took the nearest opportunity to visit the eateries that serve delicious delicacies during this festivity, such as:
  • The Shoal Restaurant
  • Caffe Matisse
  • Club Fluids
  • Sbarros
Along with cheap airfare tickets, I also availed affordable water-taxis to enjoy my sojourn at Nassau without exhausting my kitty.
